She truly believes that during these trying times, it is essential that we believe the concept that with hard work, effort, and the desire to succeed, students can definitely reach their ultimate goals. Thus she promotes the following beliefs:
*Everyone must seize and celebrate challenges.
*You are most in control of your destiny.
*Your hard work will pay off.
Her goal is to help students achieve their dreams through their education and their effort. As stated by Sophocles, “Success is dependent on effort.”
She encourages her students to take responsibility for their learning. She sets high, achievable expectations for her students, and lets them know that she has faith and believes that they are capable of success.
