Hello parents
My name is Mrs. Roque, and I am excited to be your child’s middle school science teacher this year. With 15 years of teaching experience, I am truly passionate about educating young minds and fostering a love for science. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Master’s degree in Middle School Science Education, which have equipped me with a deep understanding of both scientific concepts and effective teaching strategies.
Throughout the school year, students will explore a wide range of scientific topics. Our curriculum will cover physical science, exploring the properties and interactions of matter; earth and space science, examining our planet and the universe beyond; life science, investigating the complexities of living organisms and more; and scientific inquiry, where students will engage in hands-on experiments and critical thinking and identifying variables.
I am enthusiastic about the opportunities this year will bring and look forward to guiding your child through a year of discovery and learning. Together, we will make science an exciting and enriching experience!
