Victoria Merino graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a concentration in Adapted Physical Education. She later went on to complete her master’s in Athletic Administration through Ohio University, and most recently received her RAA.

Mrs. Merino began her professional career teaching physical education in New York where she also ran the girls MS volleyball and softball programs. She then moved to sunny SoFlo where she helped coach teams to win district titles in girls’ softball and girls’ volleyball.

Mrs. Merino is in her third year here at COHEA and is entering her 11th year over-all in education. In her time here at COHEA, she has over seen the addition of a middle school athletics program, and the addition of multiple varsity/JV sports. She has also worked on increasing over-all student-athlete GPA and increasing awareness for female athletics.
