Mr. Leon has been teaching mathematics and mathematics education courses for 15 yrs. He was a professor at Florida International University in the College of Education and at Miami Dade College in the College of Mathematics prior to joining the COHEA family. He has a degree in Mathematics Education, a master's in Applied Behavior Analysis, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Curriculum & Instruction with a Specialization in Advanced Mathematics. The courses taught by Mr. Leon include Pre-Calculus Honors, AP Pre-Calclulus, and AP Calculus AB/BC.

Mr. Leon is a member of the Mathematics Department, the Advanced Placement Department, and Sponsor of the Mu Alpha Theta (Mathematics Honor Society).
