Credit—Entering college with AP credits gives you time to move into upper-level courses in your field of interest, pursue a double major, or study/travel abroad.

cess in college than similar students who do participate in AP.

Students in the program attend many mandatory field trips to enhance their experience with their AP program i.e. the Miami International Book Fair, attend cultural events in the community through the program, and building leaders through advance placement subjects:

AP Capstone™ is a diploma program from the College Board. It’s based on two yearlong AP courses: AP Seminar and AP Research.Rather than teaching subject-specific content, these courses develop students’ skills in research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing, and presenting. Students who complete the two-year program can earn one of two different AP Capstone awards, which are valued by colleges across the United States and around the world.

The school offers 8 Dual Enrollment courses through partnerships with Miami-Dade College, Doral College, St. Thomas University, and Florida International University. 

In total 68% of our students participated in College and Career Acceleration Programs.
