Hello Bulldog Parents!
It is my upmost pleasure to be the 10th grade Language Arts teacher. I am eager to meet parents and families, and hear your hopes for your children.
I would like to share a bit about my life and career. I was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, but my parents and I moved to Miami when I was 7 years old. My parents worked very hard to give me a good education and better opportunities in life. I know that you also want the same opportunities for your children, and I am ready to help facilitate that journey.
I graduated from Florida International University with a bachelor’s in English, and my passion is literature. I hope to be able to instill that same excitement in my students. I plan to work with each student on building strong reading comprehension skills that will be of service not only through their college career, but also for the rest of their lives.
I am excited to share this journey with you, and can’t wait to get to know you in the coming months. With your help, I know that we can build bright futures for our students. I promise to care for each and every one of them as if they were my own.
